Majorca is located in the Mediterranean, is the largest of the Balearic Islands. It has been very popular as a European beach holiday destination, especially by tourists from not just England but Germany and France. Holidays in Spain have been popular since the advent of jet travel made cheap holidays possible for the masses. Majorca has steadily grown in population since the 1950′. Many Spanish from mainland Spain move to Majorca to work in the tourist industry. This coupled with the huge tourist population that seems to grow annually, makes Majorca a real tourist hotspot.

Each sport may seem relatively niche but if you visit Majorca outside of the peak summer months you’ll find thousands of people enjoying the warm climate and island hospitality at the same time as pursing their favourite pastime. Many of the tourist or visitors visit this island for its beautiful beaches and superb resorts like Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia, Palma, Formentor, etc. for a great holidays in majorca.
Spanish holidays considerably more expensive this year than last as the Euro - the currency used by Spain - has increased in value against the British Pound. However, Majorca offers great summer holiday that will worth the price, with moderate Mediterranean climate and average temperature of 25 degree Celsius. The best months to visit Majorca are considered to be June, July and august. Spain is still number one for British holidaymakers, with the Scottish people especially still choosing Spain above anywhere else. Although Majorca holidays might be a little more expensive this year, but it seems people are willing to pay the price.

Many people suffer from alcohol or drug addiction. It may be your family member, a co-worker or a friend. Thank god there are drug and alcohol rehab programs out there to help these people.
